The College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies recognises that we all have busy lives and are often unable to commit to attending classes. With emergencies, busy practices, family, and other professional commitments, time is precious. For these reasons, CIVT offers most of our courses online using the ‘directed learning' model.
Your study guide will direct you through the materials, assessments, and activity online veterinary Chinese herbal medicines associated with the course, as though your tutor was right there with you. Of course, your tutor will be there either online or via email, chat, skype, or forums. At your myCIVT student center, you will be welcomed into your online classroom and be able to attend anywhere and at anytime. This classroom is a place for you to interact with your classmates, tutors, and lecturers and access course materials, download information and upload assignments, and complete activities. The learning environment is state of the art.
Learning materials such as study guides, journal articles, mp3 audio, online lectures, and video lectures, and other interactive teaching methods allow you to study in ways that suit you.
You choose when and where you study to fit in with your work and family commitments. You can excel at your own pace! However, before enrolling as an online student, carefully consider your time and your ability to balance family, work, and social commitments with the demands of study. Successful study will require discipline and commitment. If you are not sure whether it's for you or not, why not take a short course or contact us for advice.
We look forward to seeing you in a class soon!
