Veterinary school training did not prepare veterinarians for the rapid increase in interest and questions about dietary management of pets and the topic of optimal pet nutrition is fraught with controversy. This series of lectures is designed to provide the professional with knowledge and understanding to enable them to safely and efficiently advise clients on feeding their pets a raw diet.

Lecture 1: Raw Feeding Basics - What Do Veterinarians Around the World Think of Raw Food and Approach to Raw Feeding
Dr Nick Thompson will be presenting the results of his veterinary survey which sourced data from around the world focusing on how individual practitioners feed raw food and why! He will then outline the basics of raw feeding. Nick Thompson is passionate about the role of raw food for companion animals and will present a range of cases that will assist veterinarians in understanding how and why to implement and recommend raw foods.
