About Dr Laura Lee, DVM, IVAS, AVCA - Dr Lee was born in Windsor, Ontario. She gained her DVM from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph in 1979. After graduation, she moved to Nova Scotia and joined a mixed animal practice. After 15 years in that practice, she purchased a small animal practice in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia where she still practices to this day. She received her Acupuncture certification from IVAS in 2000 and her Chiropractic training at Options for Animals in Illinois in 2003. Since then she has done advanced training in Acupuncture, Applied Kinesiology and Functional Neurology with Dr. Carl DeStefano, as well as fascial work. This varied training has molded her clinical practice philosophy into a unique style that she is sharing with others through continuing education lectures.
