Dr. Cheryl Rice is a 1997 graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (2003, small animal). Frustrated with the clinical response of conventional therapies to many common ailments encountered in daily practice, she pursued a Graduate Diploma in Veterinary Western Herbal Medicine through the College of Veterinary Integrative Therapies (completed 2019), and since that time has enjoyed renewed inspiration in treating patients with challenging presentations.
She has practiced as a small animal internist in a multi-specialty referral facility (Oakland Veterinary Referral Services) in southeast Michigan since 2002. She lives northwest of Ann Arbor Michigan with husband, three daughters, and a myriad of companion animals.
